One Pooch Thing: The Best Dog At Westminster Is Siba the Poodle

The 144th Westminster Kennel Club Dog show crowned its winner late Tuesday night and Siba, a Standard Poodle, was named Best in Show — with the Standard Poodle now one of only four breeds with five or more wins in the annual competition, making all poodle owners just a little prouder today.  We are always suckers for dog pics — and there were so many cute ones (you wanna click here — you know you do!)  Our favorite reporting on the event came from Vogue Magazine, click here for a story on the other dogs that had real style as judged by their fashion experts.  And for a laugh, check out this SNL spoof of the show entitled the “The Westminster Daddy Show” in which host, Matt Damon, moderated the parody of the show alongside Kate McKinnon, with Aidy Bryant (or “Georgina Mont-Blanc”) as head judge.  LOL!

A new poll released Thursday by Colorado College just before the Nevada Democratic caucuses shows that for residents of both parties in Western states care deeply about a wide range of conservation issues from battling climate change and pollution, to protecting federal lands and parks and endangered species, and ensuring clean and plentiful water.
