- Congress: The House Energy and Commerce Committee will hold the first much-needed hearing on perfluorinated compounds (PFAS) contamination on Wednesday. The House Science Committee will hold a hearing on building a stronger U.S. weather enterprise on Thursday, and the House Natural Resources Committee will hold an oversight hearing of the Department of Interior’s 2020 budget and policy priorities also on Wednesday.
- Home: The Sunrise Movement will kick off their “Green New Deal Tour” tonight at Howard University, stay tuned for our coverage of the event!
- Abroad: Australia will hold its elections this Saturday and climate change has taken center stage in the public debate.
