Trump’s Border Wall a Big Knope!

The Trump Administration has begun blasting through a Native American cultural site called Monument Hill in the Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument in southern Arizona. What’s worse is that the administration had begun the construction without any consultation with the Tribe about the impact it would have on this sacred burial site.

Then yesterday, as NPR reported, the Trump administration notified Congress that it plans to divert $3.8 billion from the Defense Department’s budget to build the border wall along the southern U.S. border with Mexico.

It’s all so egregious that we have to think even Leslie Knope, with her Harvest fest debacle, would raise an eyebrow to such disregard for Indigenous land and heritage. #HappyPresidentsDay….
